Multi-award-winning Waterco innovation saves of up to 7,000 litres of water per year*
Australia’s newest benchmark in environmental sustainability for swimming pools and spas, the Climate Care Certification Program, has certified MultiCyclone for its sustainability features. Designed, developed and patented by ASX-listed Waterco (ASX:WAT) the multi-award-winning centrifugal filtration device reduces water and energy consumption whilst lowering filter maintenance.
Group marketing director Bryan Goh says this further cements Waterco as a technological and manufacturing powerhouse that makes products more energy and water efficient, and easier to maintain.
“The MultiCyclone is the first product of its kind that utilises natural centrifugal forces and requires no filter media to clean or replace,” he explains.
Partnering with Smart Approved WaterMark ensures Climate Care Certified products like Waterco’s MultiCyclone are verified by a credible organisation – and provides consumers with peace of mind.
“Climate Care Certifications helps verify our environmental claims and provides confidence to pool owners, aiding their purchase decision,” says Goh.
Waterco an early adopter of a program that strives for best practice sustainable solutions
An initiative of the Swimming Pool & Spa Association of Australia Ltd (SPASA), the Climate Care Certification Program supports, protect and promotes the way the swimming pool and spa industry operates and strives for best practice sustainable solutions.
SPASA CEO Spiros Dassakis says companies such as Waterco demonstrate that the pool and spa sector is making significant changes to ensure it stays at the forefront of energy and water sustainability.
“SPASA is proud to deliver an industry-wide program that supports best practice sustainable innovations like Waterco’s MultiCyclone,” he explains. “This is how we remain relevant while ensuring people feel good about owning water and energy efficient pools and spa.”
